Conductor Jani Laaksonen

Base/baritone Jani Laaksonen has versatile roles in music. He has graduated from the Tampere University of Applied Sciences as a composer and choir conductor in 2013 and is now continuing his studies in singing pedagogics. He also has a degree as a sound designer from the Theatre Academy. Jani is an active singer and performs in several choirs and ensembles including the Savonlinna Opera Festival Choir, the Tampere Opera Choir and Tampere Cappella. He also conducts several choirs. In addition to choral singing, Jani is focusing more and more on performing as a solo artist. Jani has been conducting Camena since Autumn season 2015.
